This guide will help you understand the sources of renewable energy. The definition of the source of renewable energy is one that is naturally replaced in percentages equal to or greater than human consumption. Four types of renewable energy sources – solar energy, wind, water and sometimes miss geothermal energy. Now it’s time to study each of these energy sources so that we can learn more about each type.

Solar energy – solar energy – is the energy radiated by the sun. Solar energy has many useful applications, including; solar radiation that can produce electricity by using photovoltaic cells, heating water through convection, solar heating for homes and many other innovations. Of all the energy sources that I discuss in this article, I believe that solar energy can be the best choice for our future electrical needs.

Wind energy. One type of renewable energy is the use of wind for electricity generation. This is one kind of energy that can not benefit everyone. Due to the location, there may not be enough wind to generate electricity, the location of the wind turbine determines whether this can be a viable source of energy for your personal use. Giant wind farms are being built across the country to help produce electricity to feed our homes. Windmills were used by farmers to pump water from wells. When using a wind pump, water is extracted from the depths of the earth for irrigation of crops.

I opened my electricity bill envelope and ended up open-mouthed. “What! I can’t believe this, a further increase?” The most important point for consideration is that it is happening to almost everybody. Electricity bills are soaring high like rockets at work. The running cost of traditional grid operators is constantly being increased in the face of economic pressures. The solution to this is to opt for a reliable source of electrical energy which is comparatively cheaper and readily available and cease to depend on the traditional grid.

Our next task is to find the comparatively cheaper and readily available source to tap the electrical energy. The immediate sources available are electrical energies generated using natural resources such as wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat and sunlight. Their energies are replenished naturally. It is worthy to point out here that the main sources of their raw material supply are highly dependent on nature.

Hydro energy generation is depended on rain-water to function. It may also need a large surface area to collect enough water for it to function well. An individual will, therefore, find it difficult to operate it profitably. The system operation will be highly challenged in areas where water is not available all year round.

Introduction The cost of environmental degradation is dawning to most of us if not everyone. It is incredibly difficult to believe that there was an age when the earth was all serene covered with immeasurable resources.Every place, even in third world countries, man scavenging activities seem to dominate. In the West more land is cleared to erect skyscrapers or industrial plants, in the Middle East there is no much of vegetation and what is left in most countries lies in desolate due war.And in Africa, which is a green continent despite having the largest desert, Sahara has not been spared either, when one sees a tree, he/she sees a charcoal or firewood. Therefore, there is a dire need to create environmental awareness on the importance of
protecting our environment and come up with alternative forms of energy.

While there seem to be national and international efforts expressed through various climate summits, we must acknowledge, it is the responsibility of every citizen to use environmental resources with care and protect it from responsible behavior. We only have one earth and if we destroy, we will pay for it dearly.

Man has greatly degraded the environment through;· The unquenchable quest for industrialization and deforestation; the growth of industries has been a positive step towards economic growth, however, we cannot ignore its cost. The more we made new automobiles, nuclear plants, war equipment, roads, house, companies, town, and cities, farmed, ranched, mined and went to war among other activities, the more we destroyed the natural land. We used every resource we came across without much consideration of the future generation. But how can we create Environmental Awareness and promote Sustainability? The increasing rates of scarcity in fuel resources and the depletion of natural resources have awakened us from our slumber. And governments are using every opportunity to create environmental awareness and promote alternative forms of energy.

Electricity has now become even more expensive than one could think of. Researchers and scientists are always looking for ways to produce energy, and the Tesla generator plans have provided an alternate source for energy production. The Tesla generator is one of the few innovative options that people must learn about.

The Tesla generator has denoted the renaissance of exchange vitality. Concocted and protected by Nikola Tesla, the maker of the Tesla generator designs, this one electric generator that has been intended for making less expensive wellsprings of vitality with next to no or no significant negative consequences for the earth. Additionally, these generators have been outlined such that it can change over littler measures of vitality into bigger sums, to utilize them at home. Along these lines, the Tesla generator designs function admirably for homes as well.

People who are interested in using a Tesla generator at home can find different plans for developing the generator through many online outlets. One of the major benefits of Tesla’s design is that its materials are less expensive and can be assembled very easily. Furthermore, this generator is also capable of generating more energy than it is actually required at home.

For those unfamiliar with the term, Sustainable Energy Future refers to sources of energy that address the issues of the present without bargaining the requirements of future ages. The kinds of energy that this article will inspect incorporate Solar Energy, Hydroelectric Energy, Wind Energy, Wave Power and Geothermal Energy.

Solar Power

This is perhaps the most well-known source of sustainable energy. Solar Energy refers to energy that is generated by converting sunlight into electricity. This is done through either Photovoltaics (this is the method used with solar panels) or Concentrated Solar Power.

The Sun is a source of immense power and due to its virtually limitless nature would make an excellent source of energy. Only around one hundred millionth of a percent of the sun’s energy reaches earth and experts estimate that if we could harness 100% of this for 1 minute, it would be enough to meet the demands of the earth for a whole year.

Hydroelectric Power

This is another famous source of sustainable energy. Hydroelectric power refers to power generated by water running through and turning turbines and thus driving generators – usually in a dam. Once constructed, electricity can be produced very cheaply. There are a number of famous dams around the world that are used for this very purpose; the most famous example is probably the Hoover Dam.
